  1. I’d like to get some idea as to the status of the Moods of the Moon strategy as presented in Ch. 2 of ‘The Idiot & the Moon’.
I just finished reading the book, and being a methodical person I set out to check the material in Ch.2, but have been unable to reconstruct the results presented there, except for the $44.35 figure on p.19. Where RA got $90.96 for the FM-NM period I got $224.44. I tried the same with the ASX example with a similar result. This isn’t rocket science, so I wonder what’s the problem.
I sent RA an email, but it appears that he is very ill, and let’s just say his answer doesn’t address the issue.
So: is the MoM strategy, as presented in the book, still working? Is there somewhere I can get some reliable information on the method?
I notice that in your blog you seem to be using the Moon, but not in the way detailed in the book.
    Any clarification would be appreciated.

    1. Hi Craig, I don’t know that book, so I can’t comment on most of your questions. I have no idea how much overlap (if any) it has with the lunar cycles I am using here on the blog. The “MoM” indicator I am posting in my daily reversal levels work is a momentum indicator that has nothing to do with moon cycles.
