Hello Danny, I been a close user of Lunatic Trader for 2 years. Made forecasts using my system w/LT. This November I did have a sort of disaster results. Have never failed so miserably with only 25% accuracy. My best month was May 2019 with 82%+ accuracy. and my average has been about 69% average. I would like to ask you if you had experienced similar results during last November. A major reversal on all signals. Can not find clear anomalies but I did heard we recently had a conjunction on Noon + Jupiter and Venus. Venus presence has always brings me negative results. If there’s another possible reason let me know. If you did had poor results during November please also let me know. Many Thanks! Daniel, Houston, TX.

      Hi Daniel,
Even a quick look at our lunar cycle tracking page ( will show you that 2019 has not been a good year for lunar cycle trading. This also happened in 2016 and 2012.
2009 (when we started this blog) was only a partial year. If we look at the 10 years since then we have 3 bad years and 7 years where the green periods outperformed the red periods. That’s quite good I would say.
If you look at the bad years, they all came on the heels of a very good year. So, I think it’s simply the result of too many traders/systems picking up the lunar cycle after it has worked unusually well in the previous year. Some cyclical algos just train on the previous couple of years and they end up using the lunar cycle without knowing it.

      Greetings, Danny
